This guide will walk you through the process of setting up your tutor profile. Make sure to complete each section accurately as it helps potential students learn more about you.

Step 1: About

In this step, you will provide your basic information.

  • First Name: Enter your full first name.
  • Last Name: Enter your last name.
  • Email: Provide a valid email address where you can receive notifications.
  • Country of Birth: Select the country where you were born from the dropdown menu.
  • Languages Spoken: Choose the languages you speak and your proficiency level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).
  • Subject Taught: Select the subject you will be teaching (e.g., General English).
  • Phone Number: Enter your contact phone number.

Click Next to proceed to the following section.


Step 2: Upload Your Photo

In this step, you will upload a professional photo for your tutor profile.

  • Photo: Click on the upload button and select a clear, professional photo that represents you.

This photo will be visible to students on your profile. Ensure it's high-quality and appropriate.

Click Next to proceed.


Step 3: Certificates

Here, you can upload any relevant certificates or credentials that demonstrate your qualifications.

  • Certificates: Upload any teaching certifications, diplomas, or degrees that validate your expertise.

If you don’t have certificates ready, you can return to this step later to upload them.

Click Next to continue.


Step 4: Education

In this section, provide details about your educational background.

  • Education: List the institutions where you studied, your degree(s), and any relevant qualifications.

The more detailed your educational background, the more trust you build with potential students.

Click Next to proceed.


Step 5: Profile Description

Here, you will write a brief introduction about yourself.

  • Description: Provide a short bio describing your experience, teaching style, and what students can expect from your classes.

Keep it engaging and concise, as this is one of the first things students will read about you.

Click Next to move to the next step.


Step 6: Video Introduction

Uploading a short video introduction is a great way to connect with students.

  • Video: Record and upload a short video (1-2 minutes) introducing yourself, explaining your teaching methods, and why students should choose you as their tutor.

A video adds a personal touch to your profile, increasing your chances of attracting students.

Step 7: Availability

In this step, you will set your availability for tutoring sessions.

  • Availability: Select the days and times when you are available to teach. Make sure to update this regularly to reflect your schedule.

Having flexible availability may help you attract more students.

Step 8: Pricing

Here, you will set your rates for the classes you will teach.

  • Pricing: Enter the amount you charge per session or hour for your tutoring services.

Make sure your pricing is competitive and reflects your experience and qualifications.

Click Submit to finalize your profile.


Final Step: Submit for Approval

Once you’ve completed all the steps, your profile will be submitted for review by the platform’s admin team. You will receive a notification via email once your profile is approved and you are ready to start tutoring.
